This lower Mississippi River water trail is a paddling guide that was put together by River Gator, a website started to give experienced paddlers information about paddling from St. Louis to the Gulf of Mexico. This trail starts near Vidalia and takes paddlers by the Three Rivers Wildlife Management Area and the Red River National Wildlife Refuge.

Race 2 is the 30-mile Crawfish, Friday, Oct. 2, from Port Barre to Poche's in Breaux Bridge.
Race 3 is the 49-mile Acadian, Friday, Oct. 2, from Port Barre to St. Martinville.
Race 4 is the 24-mile Hot Sauce, Saturday, Oct. 3, from St. Martinville to New Iberia.
Race 5 is the 59-mile Sugar, Saturday, Oct. 3, from St. Martinville to Franklin.
