Great Southern Fall Bluegrass Event

Property Description

The annual Fall Great Southern Bluegrass Event will be held Thursday, September 26 through Saturday, September 28 at 30338 Highway 21 in Angie. Featured musicians will be announced at a later date. Shows will start at 2 p.m. on Thursday, 1 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday. A pot lock will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs, but, due to limited space, high-backed chairs will not be allowed. The event will take place in an enclosed air-conditioned building, with sound by Butch Cooksey. Parking lot pickers are welcome.

The admission fee is $15 for a one-day ticket or $40 for a three-day ticket. Children ages 12 or below will be admitted free with a parent.

The facility has 240 R.V. sites, 100 with sewer. R.V. hookups are available at a cost of $15. The fee for a dropped camper is $2 per day (with a minimum three-day hookup and three-day ticket). Rough camping is free with a three-day ticket.

The park is open year round. Drugs and alcohol are not permitted. The park includes a concession stand, depot and activity center and Dad's Toy House & Old Store. There are two flea markets within walking distance.
