From New Orleans to the Bayou

4 days/3 nights

Day 1 – Arrive in New Orleans in time to play The Golf Course at Audubon Park. Home to more than 1,300 restaurants, New Orleans is truly an epicurean delight. French cuisine blends with local cooking styles and creates distinctive Creole and Cajun dishes that are original to the city, such as gumbo and po’boys. Dine at any number of great spots from fine dining to a hole-in-the-wall. Stay in a historic hotel in the French Quarter or a convenient hotel along Canal Street for two nights.

Day 2 – After breakfast in the French Quarter, head north across Lake Pontchartrain to play 18 holes at Carter Plantation, a David Toms’ signature design. Spend the afternoon back in New Orleans exploring the oldest and most visited neighborhood in New Orleans, the French Quarter, then enjoy the evening on a dinner cruise and savor the romance of New Orleans.

Day 3 – Play a morning round at Pete Dye’s masterpiece, TPC Louisiana. Relax in the afternoon and travel through the Louisiana bayous on a swamp tour and experience and explore the flora and fauna up close where the gators are waiting. Head further down the bayou to Morgan City and tempt your taste buds with some great Cajun favorites at any of the area’s seafood restaurants. Stay overnight.

Day 4 – Play 18 holes in the heart of the Atchafalaya Basin, The Atchafalaya at Idlewild in Patterson.
