Nightlife in Vinton Louisiana

People who love active nightlife always find themselves at home in Louisiana. Live music by excellent musicians and recording artists pours from clubs, concert halls and casino stages throughout the state. The universal language of Louisiana is music – from jazz, blues, R&B, hip hop and country to Cajun, zydeco, swamp pop and salsa. But dining in great restaurants and cafes also is a way of life here. And with casinos and casino resorts scattered across the state, the range of entertainment Louisiana offers is huge. Night owls will be at home in cities from Shreveport-Bossier City to Lake Charles to Baton Rouge, and all the way to New Orleans, a 24-hour city where the party never stops.

On the Texas border and to the west of Lake Charles, rests the quaint city of Vinton, an area which was once traveled by civil war soldiers. The soldiers cut a road extending from an area in Vinton known as "Niblett's Bluff" on the Sabine River. The Civil War activities that took place in Vinton have sparked quite an interest with area residents who hold re-enactments of battles often at Niblett’s Bluff Park.  At the park, there are mini-cabins, RV sites, several pavilions, a playground and boat launch. Vinton also has a glamorous side with the Delta Downs Racetrack Casino & Hotel boasting quarter horse racing, headlining entertainers, casino gaming and fine dining. You can also hear local talent and smaller acts in the Gator Lounge at Delta Downs. Delta Downs is easy to find traveling Interstate 10, and the luxurious surroundings of the hotel make for a great stay.
