Pizza Shack

Pizza Shack in Opelousas is the only independently owned pizzeria in the city and was founded by Louisiana’s own Tony and Elaine Pierrottie in 1988. They’ve been in the same location for 24 years. Their signature sauces are made fresh daily, and their one-of-a-kind dough is always made from scratch. Try Ferdie’s Special topped with jalapenos and Savoie’s sausage. They also serve muffulettas, salads, and pasta. Their pasta dish, Flo’s Special, is especially good with black olives and light butter sauce. They’re also known for having the coldest beer in town.
