Paddle through a sea of water lilies and find some great coves to explore on either side of this small trail that you’ll share with fishermen and a few alligators. This waterway is the feeder from Lake Claiborne down to Lake D’Arbonne. It travels through three parishes and is a prime location for fishing. At the trail’s mid-way point is Ken’s Landing, which features a picnic table, trash cans and a rope swing. This is a great place to stop for a picnic and swim. If you go further, the trail narrows and becomes much more lush.
