Jimmie Davis State Park

Located in Chatham, this North Louisiana outdoor paradise is nestled along Caney Lake, a 5,000-acre reservoir perfect for leisurely paddling. Two boat launches offer prime starting points, each surrounded by tall, beautiful pines and hardwood forests. The lake is an excellent freshwater fishing location, so be sure to bring your rod and reel.

The park offers plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy, like a spacious playground, biking trails and bird-watching piers. Enjoy even more scenery in nearby Natchitoches.
