Pastime Restaurant and Lounge

What started as a grocery store in the 1920's is now a thriving Restaurant and Lounge. An old favorite of Baton Rouge, Pastime offers pizza, po' boys, burgers and more. In October of 2007, the Pastime was officially declared a Historical Landmark based upon the cultural contribution to the area.

The Pastime has continuously been named as one of the Top 100 independent pizza restaurants in the United States. We have had numerous awards for our pizzas and poboys, and have had articles, reviews, recipes and kudos' written in the Advocate, Southern Living Magazine and Penny Pollacks "Everybody Loves Pizza", and more. Over the years, the Pastime has served many famous people including, Joanne Woodward, Angelina Jolie', Billy Bob Thornton, Matthew McConaughey, Willie Nelson and more.
