#OnlyLouisiana Music Ambassador Program

The Program

The Louisiana Office of Tourism offers a stipend to Louisiana musicians when they perform at a qualifying event.

The event must meet three qualifications:

• It must be outside state borders
• It must be at least three years old
• Last year’s attendance must have been at least 10,000

Payment

Artists receive a minimum of $1,000 per event, and may apply and be funded multiple times.

Deliverables

The state will supply logoed promotional items to the artist (bandanas, guitar picks).  At some point during the on-stage performance the artist will distribute the items, and in their own words invite the audience to “visit Louisiana” for great live music, unique culinary experiences, over 400 annual fairs and festivals, etc.  The artist will take a video as proof of performance.

Applications

A one-page application is available here.  It can be emailed directly to the Louisiana Office of Tourism, and should be reviewed within 3 business days once received.
