Welcome to K & J Charters nestled in the small community of Johnson Bayou in the Southwest corner of Louisiana. We are only 1-1/2 hours east of Houston, TX and 3-1/2 hours west of Baton Rouge, LA. We provide guided fishing trips in Sabine Lake and the Gulf of Mexico.

Our goal is to provide you with the best family or corporate fishing adventure possible. Capt. Kent Carlson is a native of Johnson Bayou, Louisiana where he has always been surrounded by hunting, fishing, and a abundance of wildlife. Capt. Kent is a full time USCG licensed fishing guide in Louisiana with 30 years of experience fishing Sabine Lake, Calcasieu Lake, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Louisiana marshes as a professional fishing guide and commercial fisherman.
