There's no doubt that the Louisiana Peach festival brings about a time of excitement in the town of Ruston, LA. From a weekend full of festivities, awesome food, and great laughter, it is an event that you do not want to miss. This family-oriented event is produced by the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, and is held each year the fourth weekend of June.
Take I-20 exit 85, hit Hwy 167 South and follow the crowd into downtown Ruston for the 68th Annual Louisiana Peach Festival. The streets will overflow with music, fun events, artisans and vendors, and best part all, deliciously sweet peaches and treats! There is something for everyone to enjoy including arts & crafts shows, 5K & Fun Run, kid's fishing tournament, peach cookery contest, peach eating contest, festival parade, rodeo, and so much more! Wristbands are $10 or $15 for a festival weekend pass (Fri-Sat).
