To monitor the status of the travel and tourism industry in Louisiana, the Louisiana Office of Tourism is collecting data on monthly, quarterly and annual periods on data such as average daily rate, long- and short-term occupancy trends, jobs, gaming revenue and more. This data will help track the overall shifts in economic impact of tourism on the state.
