A small family owned and operated business just several miles from New Orleans. Take a break for awhile to come relax on the bayou, hear about local life and take in the beautiful scenery. Our authentic, intimate and fun tours take off from De Pope Tavern. Feel free to arrive early for drinks (at local prices, not increased touristy prices) and/or to purchase drinks to take on the tour. Much more than a gator tour, Capt. George will take you through the beautiful waterways of St. Bernard Parish, where you will see various wildlife that inhabit the area, camps on the bayou (including his own, which is a restroom stop during the tour), fishing boats, crab traps and more. A commercial crab fisherman and lifetime resident, he will tell personal stories about work and play while growing up on these waters. Happiness is the Way!
