The Annual Battle of the Gumbo Gladiators Gumbo Cook-off will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport.

Teams of Gumbo Gladiators from near and far will battle for the title of Ultimate Gumbo Gladiator. Gumbo categories include seafood, lagniappe and chicken and sausage. 

A blind judging process involves more than 30 judges who will select the top three winning teams for each of the categories….Seafood, Chicken/Sausage and Lagniappe. Each winning team will receive a $400 cash prize plus trophy and medals!
