The West Louisiana Forestry Festival in Leesville is a whopping 113-year tradition still going strong! The festival is held annually starting on the first Wednesday of October each year and features The Mighty Thomas Carnival, 4-H Horse Livestock Show, 4-H Woodsman Skills Contest, Vernon Parish Senior Citizens Day and the Leesville Lions Club Rodeo. This year's festivities will be held October 2nd - 6th.
Start the celebrations early with the West Louisiana Forestry Festival Queen, Teen and Junior King & Queen Pageants held on the Saturday before the Forestry Festival.
You don’t have to worry about going hungry, as the festival features food from eight local service organizations, exhibits and vendors.
