A historical parade on Saturday, June 18 details the unforgettable journey of African Americans since 1863. The parade rolls at 9:00 am in Ferriday, Louisiana. Juneteenth Freedom Festival
Lake Charles
Lake Charles sets out to create an event to honor the history of African American people and bring pride to the local community with the Juneteeth Freedom Festival. Start the weekend off with a step back in time at the Night at The Cotton Club Event. Held at the Paramount Room, the evening will feature classic music from Jarvis Jacobs and the Gents, as well as songstress Leah NiCollette.
