Juneteenth Heritage Festival

Join the City of Grambling on Friday night and all day Saturday for a weekend of family fun! For the fitness fanatics, you can participate in a 5K on Saturday morning. This festival will be full of cookouts, original movie screenings, a paint party and even a fishing tournament. Be sure to register if you wish to take part in the activities and contests.

Ruston Juneteenth Celebration Concert

The Real Change in Ruston Committee partnered with the Zion Traveler CDC to throw Ruston's first Juneteenth celebration concert! The concert will be from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday night. Tickets are only $5; be sure to join the city of Ruston for this inaugural event!

Madam CJ Walker Louisiana Juneteenth Celebration and Parade

A two-day festival in Northeast Louisiana that invites people of all backgrounds to enjoy Black culture and history. The students at Ferriday High School are producing a historical parade on Saturday, June 19th that details the unforgettable journey of African Americans since 1863. This parade features accurate costumes, antique cars, and soldiers to immerse guests in Black culture. The parade rolls at 9:00 am in Ferriday, Louisiana.

Then on Sunday, June 20th, festival guests will enjoy entertainment by Motown groups, Louisiana Zydeco, Blues, Second line, present-day celebrities and more! To learn more about attending, click here.
