Celebrate July 4th in Louisiana
Fireworks, food and fun are the main attractions at our many star-spangled Fourth of July celebrations.
This year, don’t settle for a backyard hotdog and small-time sparkler display. There’s no need with the variety of Fourth of July events planned all around Louisiana—from parades and spectacular fireworks displays to a music festival drawing some of the industry’s biggest names.
Fourth of July Celebrations
Shreveport: Shreveport has a list of ways to celebrate Independence day. Pair your brew with live music at Red River Brewing, partake in the Sportspectrum Firecracker 5K, or shop around the Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets and stick around for fireworks. Get all the details here.
New Orleans: Celebrate at Faubourg Brewery's Red, White & Blues Fest, which features a Blues lineup, waterslide and kids' zone, delicious food vendors and yard games. You can also celebrate aboard the Riverboat Louis Armstrong during their 4th of July Weekend festivities, which include Jazz Brunch with a Mardi Gras Indian Performance, dinner with a live Jazz band and more.
