Built in 1915, the Gothic Jail of DeRidder is believed to be haunted by the two men hanged for their crimes from the top of the spiraling, multi-story stairwell. Now—just in time for Halloween—not only can you tour the jail, you can roam its spooky halls after dark!
This Halloween season, experience the haunting and historic Gothic Jail, where paranormal activity runs rampant and the walls hold secrets of a brutal murder, suicide and a double hanging. It is not for the faint of heart!
Oct. 13,14,20,21,27 and 28: 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Halloween night: 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Admission is $10 and all proceeds benefit the Gothic Jail Restoration Project.
