Before or after your ride, take time to explore Jackson, a charming, quiet town with opportunities to explore a bit of history. You can pick up a brochure of the historic district at the Republic of West Florida Museum in the Old Hickory Village on College Street. Curator Earl Smith will show you around the museum and the interesting exhibits, such as vintage cars and horse-drawn carriages. Enjoy the rolling terrain as you cycle along quiet country roads. You will pass Glencoe Plantation at the 13-mile point of the ride.

There are no stores along the route so bring plenty of water and some snacks.  

Start: Parking lot at the corner of College and Charters in Jackson. There is a large sign for the Museum and Library at this corner. Take Hwy 952 North. This is the street that goes to the Museum and Library.
