Jackson to Spillman Loop
Beginning and ending in Jackson, this ride takes you along some of the prettiest roads in East Feliciana Parish. Highway 421 is mostly smooth, and the terrain is rolling to hilly. The route has 10 creek crossings, and several of the creeks are accessible for swimming and picnicking. Jones Creek Road is very curvy and hilly. There are no stores along the route, so take plenty of water and snacks. Dining is available in Jackson, along with other interesting stops. Milbank Historic House, a circa 1836 classic Greek Revival townhome, once housed Jackson's first bank. Or, see a restored century-old cotton gin, a 1920s pipe organ and vintage cars and carriages at the Republic of West Florida Museum.
