Mallard Golf Club

The City of Lake Charles is proud to announce the completion of Mallard Golf Club, a Scottish links inspired golf course designed by Jeff Blume. This Championship golf course features five sets of tee boxes, elevated greens, and rolling hills. The golf course is surrounded by native areas, no trees, and will produce a true Scottish links experience that will be unique to Louisiana. The golf course was designed to have fast firm fairways for maximum roll with generous landing areas, providing a truly unique experience to the golfers of Lake Charles that will challenge the best golfers while also appealing to higher handicap players. Longtime PGA Professional, Johnathan Jester has been selected as Mallard Golf Club’s first Golf Professional. He brings a wealth of experience from the Lake Charles area and is excited to lead the City’s newest
