Located in the heart of St. Bernard Parish, Arabi is located on the east bank of the Mississippi River.  The town is made up of two historic districts, the Old Arabi Historic District and the Friscoville Street Historic District.  In 2012, Old Arabi was named one of America's Prettiest Painted Places by the Paint Quality Institute of America.
