The Eddie G. Robinson Museum

The Eddie Robinson Museum, in the city of Grambling, recognizes the career and accolades of the record holder for most wins in NCAA Division I football. Robinson coached at Grambling from 1941 to 1997, accruing 408 wins, 45 winning seasons, 17 Southwestern Athletic Conference Championships and nine black college football national championship victories. Over 200 of his players went on to play professional football. The museum’s mission is to collect, preserve and display art, photography, documents, awards and memorabilia tied to Robinson’s coaching career. Exhibits include recreations of Robinson’s office, the football team’s locker and film rooms, a “Hall of Honors” displaying numerous trophies, awards and accolades, and a room with pro football jerseys from notable Grambling alumni who played under Robinson. Four of his players have been inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, and alumnus Doug Williams was the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XXII.

The museum is located at 126 Jones Street on Grambling’s campus.
