Ragley Timber and Heritage Festival Saturday October 15th, 2011 from 10:00am - 4:30pm.

6715 Highway 12 Ragley, Louisiana 70657. Experience the magic and take a stroll back through time at the 13th Annual Ragley Heritage and Timber Festival. Opening ceremony will be at the Ragley Historical Square. There will be Cookbooks, Ragley Books, Veterans’ Books, Early Settlers, Vol. I and II, and Glimpses of the Past Books available for purchase. There will be train rides, fun jumps, 5 in 1 obstacle course, sports bounce with basketball goal, face painting, spinning and weaving, quilting, jewelry making, corn grinding demos, antique tractors,cars and buggies on display.You will be able to enjoy turnip greens, sausage on a stick, homemade chili, fried fish, brisket sandwiches, nachos, pizza, homemade sweets, funnel cakes, cotton candy, snow cones, and more.There will be a silent auction, cake auction, and craft booths for everyone to enjoy.You will want to hear the bands and singing.There will be a Parade for the children beginning at 1:00 p.m. Admission to the festival is $5.00 per car.
