Welcome to The Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Located in the cultural heart of the South, New Orleans, the museum is home to the largest and most comprehensive collection of Southern art in the world, and a unique and innovative destination to "See the South." The Ogden Museum is dedicated to the rebuilding of the culture, landscape and communities of New Orleans, the Gulf Coast region and those areas effected by the hurricanes of 2005.

Directions

The Ogden Museum of Southern Art/University of New Orleans is located in the museum and arts district at the upper end of the Central Business District. There is ample parking in the immediate area. The Museum is home to the largest and most comprehensive collection of Southern Art in the world. Here you will find the story of the South - the old as well as the new, as told through its art, music and education programs. Ogden After Hours - live music in the museum every Thursday 6-8pm Museum hours: Weds - Sun 10 am - 5 pm Admission: $10 adults; $8 Senior citizens (65+) and Students (18 +); $5 children age 6 to 17; Free to children age 5 and under, University of New Orleans staff, faculty and students with valid identification
