Audubon State Historic Site, St. Francisville - 150th Anniversary of the Civil War..The War Ends, 10:00-3:00 p.m. A commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the surrender of the Confederate Department of Alabama, Mississippi, and Eastern Louisiana marking the end of the Civil War east of the Mississippi. The program features a Living History encampment of Civil War reenactors portraying soldiers of the Blue and the Grey and a recreation of the surrender of troops in the area of St. Francisville.
