Property Description

Mansfield State Historic Site, Mansfield - Christmas on the Frontline, 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Visitors will be led by candle lantern along the park battlefield trail after dark, where the emotions and experiences of soldiers and civilians separated from their loved ones at Christmas-time by the Civil War come alive. Park staff & volunteers will be acting out various scenes illustrative of how soldiers spent Christmas so far away from home.
