Opelousas Lundi Gras Celebration

Property Description

This event is dedicated to preserving and promoting our distinct Cajun and Creole and that are traced back to our City's rich history. It will feature a day of activities including guided tours of the historic village from 1pm-4pm, a Mardi Gras costume contest, Native American Dance exhibition and live entertainment. The music is scheduled from 5:30pm-8pm. Concert-goers are welcome to bring lawn chairs for seating. Because beverages sales for the concert series go towards covering the cost of bands and event expenses, ice chests will not be allowed. Beverages and food will be available for purchase on site.
