Prominent authors, scholars, and community activists lead in-depth discussions on a wide range of issues affecting Treme'. Topics include historical significance, urban renewal, and gentrification.

Jazz Mass Sunday

A traditional Jazz Mass in remembrance of the War of the Pews when the free Blacks of Treme' provided the first exclusive place of worship for the enslaved in America.
Treme' United Second Line
Location: (Traditional route ending at Armstrong Park for closing music concert)
Hours: Immediately following Jazz Mass
Admission: FREE
A one of a kind event where competing Social Aid and Pleasure Clubs come together to form one Second Line in honor of this most exuberant and celebratory of Treme' community traditions. This event attracts thousands of followers for miles!
