2013 Port City Classic Golf Tournament

Property Description

The 2013 Port City Classic Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, October 14, 2013, at Crooked Hollow Golf Course in Greenwood, LA. It is sponsored by Southern University at Shreveport Foundation (SUSF). The event's format will be four-man scramble with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Early Bird Registration is taking place now through and all Early Bird registrants will be entered into a drawing for a door prize. Registration fees are tax-deductible as a charitable donation. The proceeds go to fund scholarships for students at Southern University in Shreveport who would otherwise find a college education beyond their financial reach.

Prizes will be awarded for the longest drive, closest to the hole and through a drawing of numbered tickets for door prizes. This year's tournament may also award one lucky golfer $1,000,000 for a hole-in-one at a designated hole.

Major sponsorship packages that include advertising donor's names or businesses are available in the amounts of $400 (includes play for one team of four players). Teams of four players may register for $320 a team, individual players may register for $80 a player and hole sponsorships are available for $100 a hole that includes signage identifying the hole sponsor.
