Enjoy "The Wildest Show in the South" and/or a day of shopping for arts and crafts. The Angola Prison Rodeo is the oldest continuously running prison rodeo in the nation. The rodeo features bull riding, bareback riding, the wild horse race, barrel racing, bull-dogging, wild cow milking, rodeo clowns and more, in a recently expanded arena seating up to 10,000. This is a professionally produced, family friendly event, that features food, music, and arts & crafts in addition to the rodeo.

From Highway 61, take Hwy 66 to the end (approx 20 miles) and you will be at the gates of the prison
