The 46th Annual Jambalaya Festival is one of the largest festivals in the state. It features many activities that highlight the varied heritage and cultures of the area, including live music on three stages throughout the festival, car show, 5K and 1 Mile Run, carnival fun. The highlight of the event is the cooking contest, with entrants vying for the title of "World Jambalaya Cooking Champ of Champs". Guinness Book of Record holder for the largest pot of Jambalaya!
