Nottoway Plantation
Nottoway is the largest remaining antebellum mansion in the Southern United States and rests grandly along Louisiana's Great River Road in White Castle, between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana in the heart of Plantation Country. Visitors to Nottoway are amazed at the grandeur of the massive historic plantation, truly an "American Castle." This architectural jewel was built in 1859 by a wealthy Virginia planter named John Hampden Randolph for his wife and their eleven children. Plantation tours are given daily.

With his invaluable hospitality experience, Neil Castaldi brings a wealth of knowledge to the operations at Nottoway Plantation. From the luxury cruise ship industry to resorts and hotels, he has significantly enhanced sales and ratings at nearly every venue he has managed.
Throughout his career, Neil continues to capitalize on his initiative to secure once-in-a-lifetime experiences for his venues. His enthusiasm and connections prove successful from orchestration of week-long stays at the Valley Forge, PA Hilton by personally handling and catering to every need for top singers and actors, including Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra, Rock Hudson, Cher, Tony Bennett and many others. Neil used his knowledge in civic affairs to book presidential banquets at the Somerset in New Jersey for President Carter and President Reagan and again at the Adams Mark Hotel in Charlotte, NC for President George H. Bush and President Clinton.
His entrepreneurial spirit has led him to conceptualize and implement plans for his very own chain of upscale Italian restaurants, Castaldi’s Market & Grill, featuring opera trained singing servers with locations in six states. Neil remarkably handles large projects with ease without losing his focus and expert attention to detail. As his last assignment before joining Nottoway, Neil served as VP of Hotel Operations for a NYC based hotel company overseeing 10 hotels from the Hilton to Sheraton in four Northeastern states.
Since joining Nottoway Plantation in January 2010, the resort is thriving under Neil’s supervision, leadership, know-how and innovative vision.
