Your Louisiana

About "My Louisiana":

No matter where you travel, no tip is more valuable than the insider's. It's the people living in a place who know it best. Residents know the spots that don't appear in travel guides; the 'round-the-way cafés, the neighborhood festivals, and hidden gems. So what better way to learn where the locals go than from true Louisiana natives?

My Louisiana brings you tips and bits of advice from well-known Louisiana residents – in their own words. So you can learn about Chef John Besh's favorite place to hear live music. Or zydeco musician Terrance Simien's favorite places to get a bite to eat. These are just a few examples of the rich information and valuable insights available to you at My Louisiana.

"My Louisiana" Story Contest

Since the "My Louisiana" ad campaign was launched in January 2008, you probably have seen several Louisiana celebrities giving recommendations of what visitors should do when vacationing in the great state of Louisiana.
