Property Description
Mansfield is located in DeSoto Parish (county) in northwest Louisiana, near the Sabine River and Texas border. Pleasant Hill, the site of the second most important battle in the Red River Campaign, is located to the south, approximately 17 miles. The key area of battle at Pleasant Hill is in private hands and is cared for by a family that has consistently demonstrated its commitment to historic preservation.
Directions
The site is located in DeSoto Parish, four miles south of the town of Mansfield on LA 175. Exit I-49 to the town of Mansfield and follow LA 175 south.
