Property Description

Ths festival takes place the last weekend of October. Started in 1946, the Yambilee Festival celebrates with live music, the traditional sweet potato auction, pageants, a carnival, crop exhibits, arts and crafts show and much more. On Sunday, the Grand Louisiyam Parade begins at 1pm on Landry St., traveling west to the Yambilee Building and grounds on Hwy 190. *Chef Paul Prudhomme reigned over the 2010 festival.
