The Heroes and Heritage Trail leads you to a series of 17 destinations, each telling a compelling story through historic artifacts. The trail makes for great day or weekend trips into different parts of the state, from Abbeville to Mansfield, from Jean Lafitte to Lake Providence, and many sites in between.

You'll visit the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum in Monroe and the Delta Music Museum in Ferriday. You can examine lesser-known aspects of Louisiana history at the Germantown Colony Museum in Minden and the Tioga Heritage Park and Museum in Pineville.

Take in the history of the capital city area at Louisiana's Old State Capitol in Baton Rouge, and examine an important part of Louisiana coastal history at the Jean Lafitte Marine Fisheries Museum in Lafitte.

Along the way, you can acquire 11 stamps in your Heroes and Heritage Trail "Passport to Adventure" and become eligible for a free overnight stay at Louisiana’s Old State Capitol.

See all the details of the trail destinations and the game rules at Passport to Louisiana Adventure.
