Property Description

Founded in 1906, the Louisiana State Museum collects, preserves and interprets the state's rich history and culture through its collection of 450,000 artifacts and works of art. The Museum operates five historic properties in New Orleans'  French Quarter -- the Cabildo, Presbytere, Old U.S. Mint, Madame John's Legacy and 1850 House -- a large history museum in Baton Rouge, and an aviation museum in Patterson. Check properties by name for current exhibits, hours and admissions.
