Louisiana Recipe: Ponchatoula Strawberry Pie

Ponchatoula is known for its delicious strawberries, and its annual Strawberry Festival is one of our must-experience spring events. Enjoy some Louisiana berries in this simple yet tasty dessert featuring the state’s signature fruit. It is perfect for serving at spring gatherings. 

Ingredients:
2 baked 9-inch pie shells
1 can condensed milk
Juice of one lemon
1 large container Cool Whip
3 cups strawberries, cut into small pieces

Method of preparation:
Mix lemon juice with condensed milk. Add Cool Whip and mix thoroughly. Add cut-up berries and pour into pie shells. Chill.
