The Secret History of Louisiana Rock & Roll is revealed through rare and unusual musical instruments, records, posters, and other items from the 1940s through the '60s and a live jukebox. The exhibit was co-curated by Ira "Dr. Ike" Padnos, founder of the annual Ponderosa Stomp roots music festival.
New Orleans Cooking Experience offers private classes for groups of 20-60. Our special format features multiple chefs with guests rotating through the tables trying their hand at etouffee, oysters Rockefeller and BBQ shrimp among others. The events also offer special appetizers and dessert, as well as wine and a tour of the 1798 plantation house.
