Property Description

The Louisiana State Cotton Museum takes you back in history from the early days when cotton was grown in the South to the introduction of the mechanical cotton picker. Exhibits display the history of cotton farming with the farmhouse, tenant house, commissary, chapel, first electric cotton gin in Louisiana as well as musical instruments of the Delta Blues.
