Featuring exhibitions of internationally renowned artists, an Ancient Egypt Gallery with a 2,300-year-old mummy, hands-on art and science children galleries, a permanent art collection on rotating display, and innovative programming in the state-of-the-art Irene W. Directions

Coming N: Take I-110 south to business district. Exit at Government Street (left-hand exit off I-110). Turn right on Government Street and proceed west toward the river. Government Street becomes River Road South. LASM is on the left across from the Old State Capitol. Coming W, E, S: Take I-10 to I-110 (business district). Exit at Convention Street (left-hand exit off I-110). Travel west (toward the Mississippi River) nine blocks until Convention ends. Take a left. LASM is on the right.
