Property Description

A new museum and creole plantation. History and cultural exhibits with an award winning introductory video. Tours given through Maison Olivier, an original French Creole plantation and the Acadian Farmstead. Interprets history of French-speaking cultures along Bayou Teche by comparing life on an 1800's French Creole Plantation to typical Acadian Farmsteads.
