The Spring Street Museum is housed in what is believed to be one of Shreveport's oldest buildings dating back to 1865 featuring unique cast iron grillwork. During the life of this building, it has served as a bank and a bar, and the heavy ornate bank vault door is still in place. The museum focuses on the history of the Shreveport area and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Call for hours of operation.
