Masur Museum of Art
The Masur Museum, the largest museum in Northeast Louisiana, presents temporary exhibitions ranging from Old Master prints to works by contemporary artists. Exhibitions are complimented by educational programs for all ages. The permanent collection includes works by Thomas Hart Benton, Mary Cassatt, Philip Guston, Joan Miró, Robert Motherwell, Pablo Picasso, and Auguste Rodin. The museum is open Tuesday – Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Saturday noon - 5 p.m. Admission is always free.
From I-20 West: Take Layton Ave./South 2nd St. exit, continue south on South 2nd St, turn right onto Texas Ave., turn left onto South Grand St. From I-20 East: Take Civic Center/Jackson St. exit, take right ramp to Jackson St. and continue south on Jackson, turn right onto Texas Ave., turn left onto South Grand St. Continue 1/2 block to 1400 South Grand St.
