St. Tammany Art Association Presents Fall for Art
Historic Downtown Covington and St. Tammany Art Association
On Saturday, October 18th, 6-9pm, downtown Covington comes to life with its annual celebration of the arts, the 23rd Annual Fall for Art, presented by the St. Tammany Art Association.
The free event showcases new work by dozens of artists from around the Southeast and live music at various locations indoors and out. With art show openings at over 50 galleries and cafes, plus art demonstrations, kids' activities, boutique shopping, and fine dining throughout the walkable Historic District, there's a little something for everyone.
Columbia Street and Lee Lane will be closed to vehicle traffic from 5:30-9:30 pm on the night of the event. Shoppers, art lovers and music enthusiasts alike can stroll the streets.
The featured exhibition at event presenter St. Tammany Art Association (STAA) is selection of work from the New Orleans Museum of Art, the fifth collaboration between STAA and NOMA to bring fine works from NOMA's archives to the Northshore.
Map programs with locations and contact information for each participating shop are available at STAA, 320 N. Columbia St., and at participating locations around Covington throughout the event.
