Property Description

Tours at Ardoyne Plantation are unique since the home and contents have been in the same family for 6 generations and tours are given by family. The unique architectural style sets this home apart from its neighboring plantations. Ardoyne is listed on the NRHP as possibly the largest remaining example of rural Victorian Gothic architecture in Louisiana. Direct descendants of the original owner still reside in the home today and are there to share stories of this sugarcane plantation.
