Property Description

E.A. McIlhenny created a 170 acre gardens, in 1935 he opened it to the public to enjoy his collection of camellias, azaleas and other plants. You may see wildlife such as alligators, racoons, bobcat, deer and other wildlife as you walk or drive along man made lagoons that trail Bayou Petit Anse. Tthe over 900 yr. old Buddha sits in the Temple he created. And Bird City, home to thousands of egrets, herons, and other birds. Jungle Gardens is open every day of the year!

Take US 90 to the New Iberia, Hwy 14 exit. Take Hwy 14 to Hwy 329 turn right 7 miles.
