Visitor center with exhibits, displays, and film shares the story of the Acadians (Cajuns) who settled the bayous, swamps, and wetlands of southeastern Louisiana. National Park Service rangers available for group tours and programs upon advance request. All facilities handicapped accessible. Motor coach parking available. Free jam sessions with local musicians Mondays at 5:30 PM. Free walking tours of historic downtown Thibodaux Monday-Saturday at 2:00 PM.
